Construction requirements for bus ducts.

(1) For ease of installation and maintenance, the net distance between bus ducts of different models and manufacturers should be considered, and the height of junction boxes installed in parallel should be the same. Pay attention to the phase when installing the junction box, and the junction box shell should be connected to the bus duct shell and well grounded.

(2) When installed horizontally, each busbar should have no less than 2 supports and be reinforced with supports at the corners. When crossing the floor vertically, spring support should be selected.

(3) The insulation resistance of each bus duct should not be less than 20ω. those who fail the test shall not be installed. Voltage withstand test, if necessary, the test voltage of dense busway is 3750V, and the test voltage of air busway is 2500V.

(4) Bus duct installation process, must always take waterproof, leak-proof measures. After installation, they shall be carefully inspected to ensure that they are intact and correct. Bus ducts passing through floors and wall panels shall be fireproofed.

Causes of busway short circuits.

Bus ducts (see What is a bus duct for a definition of bus duct? () After installation, busway shorts can occur if routine maintenance (see busway prices) is not attended to. What are the common causes of busway short circuit? The following is a brief analysis of the four causes of busway short circuit.

1. If you use low-priced, poor-quality insulating materials in the production of bus ducts, the pinholes and uneven thickness of the insulating material will lead to bus duct failure in use.

2. Whether the busway copper row contains impurities, there are no convex marks, burrs, welding failures. If the bus duct is put into operation for a period of time, the burr will blow the insulation layer, resulting in a short circuit of the bus duct.

3. Refractory busway should have water spray function. If the fire-resistant bus duct does not have a water spray function, then in the case of fire sprinkler or other water, the bus duct will be short-circuited.

4. When the busway is installed, rubbish enters the busway enclosure, which will cause the busway to short circuit when it is wet.
